Anytime that you've watched an old event and feel like posting about it you can do so here and it will probably bring back some great memories from old events.

Today I watched Survivor Series 1991 and it was sick. I love the opener between Flair's Team which had Dibiase on it as well as Piper's team that had Bret Hart on it. Solid match, not crazy about the ending with everyone but Flair getting DQued but that's okay. So glad Taker won the title from Hogan. I think the heel gray Undertaker is one of the best Taker's there is. Not sure why they ended it with the L.O.D./Bossman vs. Natural Disasters/IRS. Since Macho and Jake couldn't be on the team it lost it's star power and probably shouldn't have ended it. I liked the hint towards HBK's heel turn when Jannetty accidentally knocked him in the face with Sags foot as he picked him up for the slam. A great PPV.

WWE WrestleMania XIX Sunday, March 30, 2003 Safeco Field Seattle, WashingtonDue to it being the 6 year anniversary of my favorite WrestleMania, I decided to post about this one. Here are a few points. --I loved Matt Hardy vs. Rey as it was the perfect choice for an opener. The match was very exciting and high flying and it was a good match for Rey to make his WrestleMania debut. Shannan Moore was hilarious throughout the night and I also really liked Hardy winning by cheating. --Taker vs. A-Train and Big Show was a weak mach for Taker but despite it being slow and boring it was still entertaining to see the Deadman dismantle both of them. --Trish/Jazz/Victoria was a great triple threat match between three great female wrestlers. I was excited to see Trish walk away with the gold. --The Triangle Tag match between Team Angle, Los Guererros, and Benoit and Rhyno was a great match for the WWE Tag Titles. This match had a great mix of tag team wrestling and good use out of the triple threat rule. There were so many great spots and though at the time I wasn't happy with the result, in retrospect I loved seeing Team Angle walk out still Champs. --Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho is one of my favorite matches in WrestleMania history. If ever a match told a story it was this one. It had everything, technical wrestling, high flying, just everything. The story flowed perfectly and HBK winning with a crazy pin added to his great WrestleMania moments. Jericho put on a five star performance as well and I loved the moment where Jericho goes to hug HBK and then low blows him. --The pillow fight was a complete waste of time. --Triple H vs. Booker T was a great feud and on the night the two put on one hell of a performance. Flair was classic at ringside doing all he could to assure Triple H winning. Booker pulled out all of his moves and the crowd was so solidly behind him that it made this bout so entertaining. The ending came pretty abrupt and kind of sucked the air out of the match but it was still awesome. I wish Booker would have won but oh well. --Hulk Hogan and Mr. McMahon had a great feud. It had so much substance and emotion behind it. If these two would have engaged in a regular one on one match it wouldn't be as memorable, however the Street Fight made this match so much better as they both went all out and got bloodied up by the end of it. Piper's surprise return was entertaining, and Hogan's inevitable win was great. The question still remains of who really made WrestleMania and Hulkamania what it is today. --Stone Cold vs. The Rock was the match of the night. I love how obsessed The Rock was with beating Austin at Mania. Unbeknownst to the world, this would prove to be Austin's final match in the WWE and the Rock was on his way out too. Before the match, The Rock delivered an emotional and powerfully driven promo that I'll never forget. The match had it all, including the Rock wearing Austin's vest at one point. Both men pulled out all the moves they had, even putting each other's finishers on one another, and it ended up taking The Rock three Rock Bottoms just to put Austin away and finally beat him at WrestleMania before whispering to Austin that he loved him. --Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle was a match between two of the greatest pure athletes the WWE has ever seen. Both men put on one hell of a show and also pulled out everything in their arsonal. This match is an absolute classic. Lesnar's shooting star press botch is so memorable, and probably more memorable than if he would have actually pulled it off. Lesnar hit the F-5 and pinned Angle and the two hugged in the center of the ring as my favorite WrestleMania came to a close. Well there you have it, my favorite 'Mania. This one had it all.
