Triple H got into his car to leave, but Austin picked it up with a forklift and dropped it from 15 feet in the air with HHH in it. The match was ended and no one was a winner.

Tajiri w/ Torrie Wilson --Edge (United States Champion) def. Test (Intercontinental Champion) in a Title Unification Match. --The Dudley Boyz (WCW Tag Team Champions) w/ Stacy Keibler def. the Hardy Boys (WWE Tag Team Champions) in a Title Unification Tag Team Cage Match. --Test won an Immunity Battle Royal which meant that no matter how the night ended, he'd be guaranteed a job for one year. The other participants were Billy Gunn, Bradshaw, Faarooq, Lance Storm, Billy Kidman, Diamond Dallas Page, Albert, Tazz, Perry Saturn, Raven, Chuck Palumbo, Crash Holly, Justin Credible, Shawn Stasiak, Steven Richards, Tommy Dreamer, The Hurricane, Spike Dudley, Hugh Morrus, Chavo Guerrero, Jr., and Funaki.--Trish Stratus def. Lita, Jacqueline, Mighty Molly, Jazz, and Ivory in a Six-Pack Challenge for the vacant WWE Women's Championship. --Team WWE (Captain the Rock, Chris Jericho, the Undertaker, Kane, and the Big Show) def. Team Alliance (Captain Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, and Shane McMahon) in a Winner Take All 5 on 5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. Sole Survivor: The Rock. Match of the Night: You could make a case for both Edge/Test and Dudleyz/Hardys, but I'd have to give it to the main event due to the star power and stakes. Interesting Notes:--Vince McMahon was originally supposed to be on his WWE team, but was replaced by Big Show due to injury. --This was the final event that Paul Heyman did commentary. the King would return the next night on RAW after a 9 month hiatus. --Tajiri was supposed to face X-Pac to unify the WCW Cruiserweight Championship and the WWE Light Heavyweight Championship, but due to X-Pac getting injured it was canceled. --Vince came up with the concept for this match on an October edition of RAW. He'd later say that there was a traitor on the Alliance team. Everyone thought it was Austin, but it turned out to be Kurt Angle who hit Austin with the Championship and aiding the Rock to victory. --Hugh Morris and Chavo Guerrero joined the battle royal as wild card entries, not appearing for either side. --After this event, Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWE Champion), Test (Immunity Battle Royal Winner), the Dudleyz (Tag Title holders), Rob Van Dam (Hardcore Champion) and Christian (European Champion) were all able to stay. Regal was added for joining the Kiss My Ass Club. --On the RAW after this, Ric Flair returned to the WWE for the first time since 1993 stating he bought Shane and Stephanie's stock in the company and was now co-owners with McMahon.

This has to be the best Survivor Series in my opinion. Every match felt so important and the stakes in the main event were unbelievable. The storylines were so good and the way Angle ended up turning on the alliance was epic. Great PPV!

Jamie Noble w/ Nidia to win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. --Victoria def. Trish Stratus to win the WWE Women's Championship in a Hardcore Match. --The Big Show def. Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Haymen to win the WWE Championship. --Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo) def. Edge and Rey Mysterio and Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle in an elimination three way tag match to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. --Shawn Michaels def. Triple H w/ Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Kane, and Rob Van Dam in an Elimination Chamber Match to win the World Heavyweight Championship. Order of Elimination: 1. RVD 2. Booker T 3. Kane 4. Chris Jericho 5. Triple H Match of the Night: Obviously the chamber, but the undercard matches were great. Most notably the Tag Titles and the tables match. Interesting Notes:--Every single title defended on this Pay-Per-View changed hands. --HHH was really injured in the match when RVD hit the five star from the top of the chamber, hurting HHH"s trachea. --During the Big Show/Lesnar match, Haymen turned his back on Lesnar, aligning himself with the Big Show and aiding him to win the title. --Scott Steiner debuted at this event, attacking Chris Nowitzky and Matt Hardy as they made fun of the New York crowd in the ring. --During the tables match, D'Von interfered to help Buh-Buh 3-D Rico for the win. D-Von hadn't been seen in Dudley's attire since the brand extension just after WrestleMania where he became Brother D-Von on SmackDown. We'd later find out D-Von had been traded to RAW.

Match of the Night: Team Bischoff vs. Team Austin. HBK's performance is unbelievable. Interesting Notes:--Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was involved in an altercation with Bischoff, leading to an RKO from Randy Orton. --This was the last event that the Undertaker was seen as the American Bad Ass. Kane would help Vince bury Taker alive, and Taker would not return until WrestleMania XX where he fought Kane as the deadman. --The stipulation of the Team Austin vs. Team Bischoff match was that if Austin's team lost, he left the WWE. If Bischoff's team lost, Austin was able to put his hands on anyone he wanted to at any time, ending the rule made by Linda McMahon that as long as Austin was co-GM, he couldn't touch anyone unless physically provoked. --Batista interfered while the ref was down, causing HBK to be pinned by Orton and for Team Bischoff to get the win. --Farooqu was originally scheduled to be on Team Angle, but he was injured in storyline by the Big Show.

Ric Flair in a Last Man Standing Match. --John Cena def. Kurt Angle to retain the WWE Championship with Daivari as the Special Guest Referee. --Theodore Long w/ Palmer Canon def. Eric Bischoff in a GM vs. GM match. --Team SmackDown (Captain Batista, Randy Orton, JBL, Bobby Lashley, and Rey Mysterio) w/ Bob Orton and Jillian Hall def. Team RAW (Captain Shawn Michaels, Kane, the Big Show, Carlito, and Chris Masters) in a 5 on 5 Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. Survivor: Randy Orton Match of the Night: Tie between Angle/Cena HHH/Flair, and RAW vs. SmackDown. Interesting Notes:--Eddie Guerrero was supposed to be on the SD team, but due to his untimely tragic death just a week prior to the PPV, Orton had to replace him. --Randy Orton was the Sole Survivor for the third year in a row. --After Orton survived, druids carried out a casket. It was struck by lightning and the Undertaker was inside, he had returned to feud with Orton. --The U.S. Title was vacant due to a match in England where Benoit had Booker T in a cross face and two refs came down. One ref saw Booker tap while the other counted Benoit's shoulders to the mat. Due to this, the title was vacant and a Best of 7 series was declared. --For losing the best of the brands match at the Survivor Series, Vince McMahon fired Eric Bischoff a few weeks later.

After the match, Cryme Time came out and sold her stuff. --Team DX vs. Team Rated RKO was one of the only times in the history of the Survivor Series an entire team survived and swept. --The World Title match was a Last Chance Match for Batista. Had he lost, he wouldn't be able to get another title match. Also, Theodore Long came out before the match and stated that if Booker got intentionally DQued or Counted Out, the title would change hands. --The next night on RAW was the Spirit Squad's last appearance in the WWE.
